This stone carves very well with good structural integrity that allows for intricate, deep groove carving without risking splitting or shearing. Can be carved to fine, tapered edges and delicate freeform curves. At 16.5lb this stone will provide enough volume for a number of excellent pieces or a prominent stand-alone sculpture.
